New Studio!! – Youtube Channel Announcement

I recently upgraded to a larger studio space. Took a while to get everything set up, but I’m very glad I made the move. I even converted an old closet into a make-shift vocal booth, which sounds great!

I filmed a time-lapse of me tearing down my old studio, and building my new one from scratch. The video will premier later this year on my brand-new Youtube Channel! Be sure to subscribe, I’ll be posting production tutorials in Ableton, Mixing tutorials in Pro Tools, and regular updates on my life as an audio engineer. Hope to see you there!

Updated Credits:

It’s a great feeling when the credits are released for a record you worked on. The early mornings and even later nights spent working summed up in just a few short lines of text. I’m truly honored to have been a part of so many incredible projects over the last year. Now that they are starting to emerge, it feels good to reflect on all of the hard work and dedication that the artists, engineers, and myself have put towards making great music.

I’d also like to give credit to those who aren’t mentioned on official credit lists. To all of the friends, family, and loved ones who support those who take on such an enormous task:

Thank you for your love and support. I know that I wouldn’t be here without you, and I’m sure that many can say the same.

Bansuri – Emmanuel Becker [OUT NOW!]

So glad to announce the release of “Bansuri” by Emmanuel Becker with Genesis Records. I was so excited when I first heard this song, I jumped on the opportunity to sign the single, and since then I’ve been nothing short of impressed with all of his work. At just 16 years old, Emmanuel was able to produce this monstrous track and obtain his first professional signing with a record label.

This track was a joy to master. Emmanuel had given the song such a thorough mix down, that the mastering process became more about coloring the sound, and achieving maximum clarity. We are so thrilled to have this record in our catalog, and I know that this young man has a very bright future in music ahead of him.

Mind Control – Out Now!

My most recent song, “Mind Control” is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, and Soundcloud! This song was a favorite of mine to record. The vocals were processed through an old Roland VS-880 digital recorder which only has a maximum bit-rate of 12. I wanted an earthy haunting sounding vocal, with enough noise to make the voice discomforting but still easy to understand. The VS-880 uses a large internal hard disk for storage than I noticed made a horrid whirring noise. I crouched under my desk, where I store the vintage digital recorder, and whispered the first words that came to mind. These eerie vocals are the first take I captured, huddled under a desk, with the microphone as close as I could get it to this old Atari-looking machine – at 4AM. Hopefully that earns me your listen!
